Some examples of metadata that we may collect and analyze include, without limitation, the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, computer and connection information (such as browser type, version, and time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system, and platform), the full Uniform Resource Locator (URL) click sequence to, through, and from our Services, including date and time, cookie number and any products, services or features you use or interact with arising out of or in connection with your use of our Services.

Sometimes, you will have a choice whether or not to provide information, but if you fail to provide certain information it could impact some features and/or functionalities of our Services.

Information from Other Sources

We do not buy information about you from data brokers, advertising networks or credit reference agencies.

3. How information is used, shared and disclosed

We do not sell, and generally do not disclose, your Personal Information to third-parties without your consent. Except as set forth in Section 10 of this Privacy Policy, parents have the right to consent to collection and use of personal information from their child without also consenting to its disclosure to third-parties, as we do not share information that may be collected from your child. We use Personal, Non-Personal and Financial Information, among other things, to monitor system performance, analyze internal business systems, improve our Services, fulfill requests for additional products and services, contact you about promotional and marketing activities, provide customer support, and conduct research. The use and protection of information is an important component of our business. Examples of how we share and disclose your information is as follows:

Legal

In any of these types of transactions, any information you provide may be one of the transferred business assets (subject to any pre-existing privacy notice unless you consent otherwise). In the event that all or substantially all of our assets are acquired or we merge with a third-party, your information will likely be one of the transferred assets. You understand and agree that we reserve the right to transfer any information collected from you in the case of any such transfer. In such event, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you before Personal Information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Affiliated Businesses We Do Not Control

We may use third-party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders, processing payments, hosting, data storage, sending postal mail and email, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, providing search results and links (including paid listings and links), processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. We will provide such entities with access to certain information needed to perform their functions, but will take measures to ensure that they may not use it for other purposes. We share information only as described above and with third-parties that are either subject to this Privacy Policy or to a privacy policy that is at least as protective as this Privacy Policy.

4. Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once it is received. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. While no security system is completely secure, we and its third-party partners and vendors take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access or disclosure of the information collected by us. For us, this includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that all Personal and Financial Information is disclosed only on a "need to know" basis and ensuring that all Personal Information collected by us are done so via secured connections and protected and encrypted (using secure socket layer technology, "SSL") by industrial grade security software to guard against unauthorized access.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Gtag Mods is supported by an optional paid subscription. It contains no advertising, and we do not embed any advertising or ad-attribution SDK in the app.

All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see, receive or store your card number, billing address or any other payment credentials — that information goes to Apple, and is handled under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We use RevenueCat to record whether a subscription is active and to restore purchases across your devices. For this purpose RevenueCat processes an anonymous app user identifier, your purchase receipt from Apple, and basic device and country information. It does not receive your name or email address from us. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

You can review, change or cancel a subscription at any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions on your device. Refunds are issued by Apple, not by us; see our support page for how to request one.

6. Third-party services we use

We keep the number of third parties in the app deliberately small. These are all of them:

ServiceWhat it doesWhat it processes
Apple App Store Sells and renews the subscription Your payment details and App Store account, handled entirely by Apple
RevenueCat Tracks subscription status, restores purchases Anonymous app user ID, purchase receipt, device model, OS version, country
Firebase Analytics Aggregated usage statistics so we know which features are used Pseudonymous app instance ID, screen and event names, device model, OS version, coarse country
Firebase Crashlytics Reports crashes so we can fix them Crash stack traces, device model, OS version, app version, and an installation identifier
Firebase Cloud Messaging Delivers push notifications you have opted into A device push token
Amazon Web Services (S3) Stores and serves mod files and images you download Your IP address and standard web request logs at download time

None of these services is an advertising network, and none of them receives your information for advertising purposes.

7. Your choices and controls

The app does not require you to create an account or to sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or any other identity provider. You can use every feature without giving us your name or email address.

App Tracking Transparency

On iOS the app may ask for permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, nothing in the app stops working. You can change your answer at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Local network

The app asks for local network access so it can transfer mod files to a headset or another device on the same Wi-Fi network. That traffic stays on your network and is never sent to us.

Analytics and crash reports

You can stop analytics and crash reporting from being linked to your device by resetting the advertising identifier in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and reinstalling the app, or by writing to us and asking us to delete the identifiers associated with your installation.

Deleting your data

Because the app has no user accounts, most of what we hold is pseudonymous and tied to an app installation. Deleting the app removes the local data on your device. To ask us to delete anything held on our side, email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

We will respond to your access request within a reasonable timeframe.

We will retain you and your child's information for as long as you or your child's account is active, or as needed to provide services. If you wish to cancel your child's account or request that we no longer use the information to provide services, contact us at the email address listed on our support page. We will retain and use the information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

11. Conditions of use / changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to information practices. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email if you have provided an email address to us, or by means of a notice on our Services, prior to the change becoming effective. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on its privacy practices. If we make material changes to how Personal Information collected from children under age 13 is used, we will notify parents by email in order to obtain verifiable parental consent or, if we do not have such emails to contact parents directly, by reasonable means on our website for the new uses of the child's Personal Information.
